Olufemi T. Agunbiade (born March, 15 1976), better known by his stage name Fem D, is an American Nigerian singer-songwriter, record producer, actor and film maker. Born to Nigerian parents in Silver Spring, Maryland U.S.A., he moved back to Nigeria at the tender age of five. After graduating from high school, he returned to the States to further his education; earning a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He started singing in his church choir and by 1996, he was a lead singer in the gospel group Men In Christ. In 2001, the group released the single I Live In You, which he co-produced. The single was featured on the gospel compilation CD Nu Gospel Compilation Volume 1[1]. The group wowed audiences while touring the U.S., Nigeria and Europe. With a passion and desire to bring Hollywood to African movies, African music and African entertainment as a whole, he co-founded Prominent Cease Entertainment, with the goal of taking Nigerian movies and Nigerian music to the next level. In 2010, he directed his first independent full feature film D'Comeback. The movie premiered at the Bethesda Theaters in Maryland on April 2nd, 2010[2] and garnered rave reviews. The movie also had a star-studded premiere in Lagos, Nigeria at the Genesis Deluxe Theaters.[3] That same year, he became a member of a dynamic musical group PCE Crew and produced their debut album, D'Comeback The Soundtrack[4], which contained the hit singles "Komole" and "Elevate."
